7月28日，盖博建筑国际执行总裁兼中国区总裁马睿思（Marius Ryrko）一行拜访了海南省设计研究院有限公司。在海南自贸港建设加速的背景下，双方围绕建筑设计、城市更新与绿色建筑三大热点议题展开深入交流，并探讨了未来合作的潜在机会。此次拜访也是两家拥有悠久历史、深厚技术积淀与使命感的建筑专业机构之间的思想碰撞。

July 28th — Marius Ryrko, Executive President of Gerber Architekten International and President of Gerber Architekten China, led a delegation to visit Hainan Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (HDRI). The two companies engaged in in-depth discussions focusing on three core areas: architectural design, urban renewal, and green building. The meeting centered on exploring potential opportunities for future collaboration. This visit also marked a significant meeting of minds between two professional architectural firms distinguished by their long-standing histories, technical expertise, and regional commitments.

此次交流共有来自海南省设计研究院、海南省国土空间规划设计院和盖博建筑设计事务所的三方代表共12人参会。会议由海南省设计研究院执行董事黄莉莉主持，海南省国土空间规划院副总经理王婷致欢迎辞。马睿思则分享了盖博建筑在全球多个复杂城市语境中的项目经验，并表达了对海南市场潜力的高度关注。

The meeting was attended by a total of 12 representatives from Hainan Design & Research Institute, Hainan Provincial Land and Space Planning and Design Institute and Gerber Architekten. Huang Lili, Executive Director of Hainan Design & Research Institute and Wang Ting, Deputy General Manager of Hainan Provincial Land and Space Planning and Design Institute, each delivered a welcome speech. Marius Ryrko shared Gerber Architekten’s extensive experience in various complex urban contexts worldwide and expressed strong interest in the Hainan market.

Hainan Design & Research Institute, founded in 1957, specializing in urban planning, architecture, EPC contracting, and engineering consulting. It covers diverse projects including commercial complexes, rail transit, healthcare, education, wellness tourism, and residential buildings. The institute has ranked first in Hainan’s design industry for 30 years and actively contributes to developing industry standards.

Meanwhile, Gerber Architekten, established in 1966, is a design firm with a rich history and international vision. Over the decades, we^ve expanded its global footprint from Germany to Asia and the Middle East. Upholding the design philosophy of being “in context” and combining rigorous German design principles with sustainable development strategies, continuously shaping vibrant urban living spaces.

Both sides have cultivated forward-looking design expertise in different contexts and will explore greater possibilities in design innovation, cultural exchange, and win-win collaboration.
