全民参与的远程办公,体验如何?Gensler Remote Work Survey

当中国开始进行世界上最大规模的“居家办公”实验时,数以百万的员工开始呆在家里办公,Gensler和其他许多公司一样,发起了一项关于“居家办公”的调研,以了解员工的真实需求和反馈。作为一家对办公空间设计具有深刻理解的设计公司,我们的调研结果非常有趣。那么我们到底发现了什么有趣的事实?


When China decided to embark on the world's largest work-from-home experiment, where hundreds of millions of workers stayed home from the office, Gensler, like many other companies, launched a survey to determine what was working for their staff. As a company who designs offices and has a deep understanding of the requirements of a workplace, the results were fascinating. So what did we find out?

远程让办公效率变低了吗?Does remote working make us less efficient?

答案是:NO!

根据问卷调研结果,大部分回复的员工清楚自己每天的工作任务。少部分人会感到容易被打扰。22%的回复者认为“可以更灵活地决定何时/何地工作”,“更好地管理时间”。15%的回复者认为他们感到“更专注了”。 


根据这些回复,我们总结出四大影响工作效率的因素:

    (1) 工作动力

    (2) 科技支持

    (3) 公司内网

    (4) 沟通工具


According to the survey, most respondents knew what they were required to do day-to-day. While a few noted that they were more easily distracted, 22% of staff reported that “there is more flexibility in deciding where and when to work” and 15% saying they feel more focused.


Based on these responses, we have summarized four major factors that affect work efficiency:

    (1) work motivation

    (2) technology support

    (3) company intranet

    (4) communication tools

How do leaders feel about remote working?

与团队成员相比,领导们感到远程办公给他们带来的变化较大,更不容易感到焦虑。有一些领导表示,远程办公为了解组员工作状况带来了一些挑战。


Compared to other staff, leaders feel a greater change yet less stress when working remotely. Some leaders say that remote working presents some challenges when understanding team members’ working conditions.

生活-工作是更平衡了还是更失衡了?

More Work-Life balance?

总体上,员工们认为远程办公更好地促进了生活与工作的平衡,并有助于坚持健康的生活方式。他们有更多时间陪伴家人、兼顾家务、准备餐食、规律健身;但也有员工反映,远程办公模糊了工作与生活的界限,工作时间被延长了。


Overall, employees believe that working remotely better promotes a balance between life and work and helps maintain a healthy lifestyle. They have more time to spend with their families, take care of the family, cook their own meals and exercise regularly; But some employees also responded that working remotely blurred the line between work and life and extended working hours.

远程办公的痛点有哪些呢? What are the pain points of working remotely?


虽然回复者对远程办公都持有比较正面的态度,还是会面临一些挑战。

Although the respondents have a positive attitude towards remote working, we still face some challenges.

 沟通与协作效率受到影响

Impact on communication and collaboration


由于理解障碍和延迟回复,有时线上交流效率更低、更耗时。

Sometimes online communication is less efficient and more time-consuming than talking in person due to impaired understanding and delayed responses.

头脑风暴和交流设计想法会被受限,进行即兴的创意讨论面临挑战。

It’s challenging to conduct brainstorming and exchange opinions on design,spontaneous creative discussion is more challenging.

Sometimes people get distracted by multiple communications tools

缺乏高效的科技、办公设备支持
Lack of efficient technology, office equipment support

公司内网很慢,家中网络不稳定,导致难以进入公司服务器。

There is a direct correlation with peoples satisfaction working from home and their ability to access the company VPN/server. Often these issues are caused by their internet connectivity.


沟通软件无法有效的支持实时线上讨论和文件分享。

Communication tools lack proper support for real-time discussion and file sharing.

需要材料样板、打印机、文具、大显示屏等办公设施。

Need materials simples/ printer/ pens and pencil / Large screens and other office equipment to support working.

物理环境/社交环境的改变带来一定困扰
Changes in the physical / social environment have caused some annoyance

被其他家庭成员或家庭琐事分散精力

Distractions are caused by other family members and household errands

Not having a proper workplace and ergonomic furniture causes frustration

Working from home makes people feel less connected to their colleagues and the company, less socializing may affect their mental health

Find a good online whiteboarding solution for design communication

开展日常团队会议;设置定期的沟通时间,以及专注时间来完成工作

Develop daily team meetings; set up regular communication time, and focus time for people to do productive work

建立文件共享的工作流程,减少基于对话的沟通

Establish a workflow for file sharing, ideally reducing conversation-based communication
