“环境谷”中的“能量核”

An “Energy Core” in an “Eco Valley”

深圳东部环保发电厂（即“龙岗能源生态园”）已入选国家重大工程档案项目。整体建筑采用去工业化设计原则。厂区的整体规划设计理念为“环境谷与能量核”，寓意该项目将不仅为城市提供生产生活的能源，也通过自然环保的发展理念为社会、社区和居民提供精神层面的能量，成为“环境谷”中的“能量核”。

Shenzhen East Waste-to-Energy Power Plant (also known as Longgang Energy Ecological Park) has been selected as a national major engineering archive project. The overall concept is to create an “Energy Core” in an “Eco Valley,” meaning that not only is the project going to supply the power to the city, but it will also support the community spiritually through its core concept of sustainability and environmental protection.

简洁的圆形平面布局，将厂房基底占地面积控制在最小范围，有效减少了土方工程量。建筑将不仅能满足处理废弃物和发电的需求，还将成为一座传播可持续发展理念的公益设施，建成之后市民可以进入电厂亲眼观看垃圾循环利用的整个流程，从而提升公众“从我做起、减少垃圾”的环保意识。

By designing a clean circular form, the footprint of the plant is controlled and reduces the amount of excavation required to build on the site. The plant not only processes waste but acts as a source of education for the citizens of the city. After completion, people can visit the power plant to watch the whole process of waste recycling. The goal of the plant is to handle waste but also educate citizens, government leaders and businesses to reduce waste.
