The Xinjiang Vanke Gongyuanli is locating in the Liyushan area of the Urumqi Hi-Tech Industry Development Zone. Functions like education, medical and health care, retails and commercial are well developed around the site, while the planned subway at the east side of the project will be opened in 2021, this making the project more attractive for both convenient in daily life and transportation.

Moreover, this is not easy to find a low-density site in the urban area of Urumqi now a day, this Vanke Gongyuanli project site just like an urban oasis in the district! The design of Gongyuanli is fully responding to this dominance, enhancing the potential of the project.

鲤鱼山公园 Liyushan Park

明末造园家计成在《园冶》“兴造论”里提出了“巧于因借，精在体宜”，他认为借景，是造园最重要的部分。通过商业流线设计，连通公园与基地的空间，整合“公园”、“商业”与“居住”，自然景观与日常生活空间“隔而不断”，打破自然与城市的对立，最终形成一个既拥有城市的便利，又具有场所精神的社区，为现代城市中千篇一律的城区带来新气象。

In the late Ming Dynasty, the landscape designer Jicheng proposed in the "Yuanye" that "the smartest way is make use of surroundings and the fineness part is having an appropriate size”. He believed that scenery is the most important element to landscape design. Through the circulation of the commercial part connecting the spacing of the park and residential site; integrating “park”, “commercial” and “residence”, the natural landscape and the daily life are linking with each other, setting up a new living model for the modern city.

万科·公园里的商业规划由一轴 · 一带 · 一园构成。南北向“一轴”打通城市与居住，东西向“一带”整合城市与公园。十字交汇处是整个商业街的中心广场，人流在此汇聚，激发场地的种种可能性，成为活力之“一园”。二层室外连廊使得各个来向的人流都能便利的到达目的地，也使得空间感受更加丰富，带来新疆户外商业新体验。立面设计采用体块的堆叠与组合，呈现多变的外观和缤纷的商业氛围，立面材料的虚实对比，营造富有活力的场所氛围，展现开放的姿态。

在白天，这里可以是周边商务办公人群的休憩空间，午休的口袋花园；到了晚上，绚丽的灯光点亮，成为周边居民轻松开放的社区活动广场。漫步在尺度舒适的广场，周边灯带的点缀，这种踩着光与空间发生交互的感觉，如同在生活的秀场里演绎一出有趣的剧情。商业区的来访者都会在这片公共空间里，找到一种全新的体验。

The retail planning of Vanke Xinjiang Gongyuanli is combined by 3 core elements - one axis · one belt · one park. From north to south, the city and the residential area are linked as "one axis", while the city and the park are integrated by “one belt” from east to west. The cross interchange is the central point of the whole commercial street, and is the best multi-functional space for different kinds of leisure and commercial activities, we call this “one park”. The two-story outdoor corridor forming a perfect network for visitors, hence, benefiting the outdoor retails, introducing a brand new outdoor shopping experience to Xinjiang. Different forms of blocks combining together to give a versatile appearance to the project, and the big contrast of façade materials using for this project provides it an interesting and attractive outlook! 

In the day time, here will become a relaxing park for people working in the surrounding business offices, especially for their lunch breaks. During the night time, residents of Gongyuanli and its surrounding can walk and relax under the designated lighting along the streets and the central plaza. Even visitors, they can experience a new living style in Gongyuanli!
