近年来在上海可以看到一个明显的趋势，越来越多的企业将自己的展厅和办公场所搬迁到花园洋房中。

这些多于上个世纪建设的洋房别墅，很难被单一家庭占有使用，也难于在功能上满足被分割为多个家庭的需求。

在这种背景下，就催生了上海特有的一种，模糊于居住区与办公区之间的边界。洋房办公的理念也就愈发的流行起来。

而突如其来的Covid19大流行，使工作流程安排，工作的安全与环境安全，员工的健康问题等更多被提上讨论，这也让更多的企业主不得不面对这个问题：设计对环境的影响。

An interesting trend in Shanghai sees companies targeting existing villas and converting them into their showrooms or office spaces.

Those buildings designed in the last century are somehow too large and expensive to host a single family and too complex to be subdivided into multiple residential units.

The result is an interesting mix of activities that respond well to the current need to blur the boundary between commercial and residential spaces. 

Following Covid19, work distribution, safety at work, employees well-being and many other priorities have entered the agenda of every company with one key element connecting all of them: design.

玉数投资希望改变以往在外滩区域传统办公楼内工作的模式，因此委派V10和他们一起在法租界的核心腹地寻找新的洋房办公空间。

V10坚持保留原有建筑的氛围，将一层空间营造成一个具有温度的接待区，而把二三层打造成办公区域。屋顶的露台也被改造成一个私密的，可以俯瞰城市的静谧区域。

Investmath approached V10 to renovate the existing property on Huaihai Road into their Shanghai Headquarters, moving from a typical office tower on the Bund to a residential building in the heart of the French Concession.

V10 insisted on maintaining the domestic atmosphere on the ground floor and upgrading the top two floors for office use. A small rooftop platform was also renovated into an intimate space to admire the city.

V10根据老洋房的结构特点和业主的功能需求，对空间进行整体设计，包括一个会议室，图书休息区以及新的休闲花园。

V10 interpreted and adapted the existing layout to provide new functionality for the building. Those include a conference room with a marble table, a library lounge and a new garden with bespoke lighting.

会议 / The Conference

V10为业主的会议室设计了一张由360块产自意大利的天然大理石组合而成的会议桌。每一片大理石都是可以活动的，他们在一起可以随机组合成1000多种丰富的桌面纹理。

这个概念也是来自于玉数投资擅长的算法交易模式，通过数学算法的组合来创造无限的可能。这张独一无二的会议桌是专门为这个项目设计，并在工厂制作安装的。

For the conference room, V10 designed a custom-made table in Italian marble made of 360 tiles. Each tile is removable and the marble pattern can be manipulated to create one thousand different tables and more.

The concept for this piece came from the mathematics used by Investmath in their algorithmic trading. The table is a one-off design specifically fabricated for the project.

接待 / The Lounge

书廊接待区是由高温灼烧加工后的木材构成的书架组成的，其中最长的一片木材达到了4m，这一个书架家具由V10自主设计并参与生产加工，通过对松木原木的边缘及表面的特殊处理使其具有丰富的纹理特点，再结合黑色金属框作为结构支撑得以实现。

The library room is defined by a 4m long library made of burned wood. For this furniture piece V10 hand burned the pine timber and maintained a clear edge to reveal the original material thickness and process used to craft this library. The metal frame which supports the floating slabs is also a bespoke realization.

花园 / The Garden

花园里两颗粗犷挺拔的玉兰树向上延展着。

V10希望通过花园的改造，借机让两颗树木更加突出，并借用他们创造的阴影区域打造办公户外的活动空间，并且让树叶与阳光形成的阴影使得翻新后的立面更加有层次感。

具有设计感的维护栏杆和大门诠释着邻里之间和谐的新关系。户外灯光的设计为花园和立面带来更丰富的视觉体验。

Two beautiful magnolias occupy the garden and rise up to the rooftop level.

V10 decided to create multiple landscape platforms that could make the two trees stand out and create intricate shadows on the renovated facade.

A new fence and gate door also filters the relationship with the neighbors. Artificial lighting is used at night to highlight the trees and facade.

夜景 / By night

灯光策略的主题思想是运用光的反射。自下而上的灯光丰富了建筑立面的肌理，增加了玉兰树的层次，勾勒出户外地板的边缘，让水景更加的灵动。暖色的灯光氛围强调了设计概念的主旨，营造温馨而舒适的工作环境。

The key concept for the illumination of this project was reflected lighting. A bottom-up approach was taken to highlight the facade texture, the magnolias and the newly created water feature along the property perimeter. The softer tones and warm temperatures support the original concept for a comfortable environment.
