裸心谷位于莫干山，占地约300亩，是中国首家荣获国际LEED最高荣誉铂金级认证的生态度假胜地。该项目注重打造可持续性的环境，创造独特而又难忘的体验，满足人们寻求慢节奏生活方式的希冀，以及无拘无束回归大自然的期望。设计尊重自然，因地制宜，使用当地材料，结合当地传统，通过对工艺，质地和细节的把握，实现景观，建筑与环境的相互融合。在此，人们能远离城市喧嚣，返璞归真，重塑与他人，与自己，与自然，和谐共生的关系。
Located in Moganshan, Naked Stables covers an area of about 300 mu. It is the first eco-resort in China that has been awarded the highest honor of international LEED Platinum Certification. The project aims at developing a sustainable environment, creating unique and unforgettable experiences, satisfying people's desire to seek a slow-paced lively lifestyle, and return to nature freely. With the respect for nature, the design adapts measures to existing conditions, and use local materials following local traditions, realizes the integration of landscape, architecture and nature through the grasp of craftsmanship, texture and details. At Naked Stables, people can get away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, return to nature, and reshape the harmonious symbiotic relationship with others, with themselves, and with nature.

Project Background
莫干山位于中国浙江省，距省会杭州60公里，距上海200公里。它是莫干山国家公园的一部分，位于莫干山镇的边缘。莫干山因其凉爽的天气和清新的微风而闻名。自19世纪80年代，吸引了许多外国人来到这里，从当地人那租借房屋在此居住。到了1910年，他们开始在山上建造避暑别墅。但在1949年共产党崛起期间，这些别墅被分发给杭州和上海不同的工作“单位”。
Moganshan is located in Zhejiang Province China, 60 km away from the provincial capital Hangzhou and 200 km from Shanghai. It is part of the Moganshan National Park at the edge of Moganshan Town. Known for its cool temperatures and crisp refreshing breezes, Moganshan first enchanted foreigners in the 1880s where rooms and houses were rented from locals. Eventually by 1910, foreigners had set up summer homes on the hill only to abandon them during the rise of the Communist party in 1949, when the villas were handed out to different work units or “danweis” from Hangzhou and Shanghai.

2007年，政府开始致力于建立更加和谐的城乡关系，通过颁布《国家城市规划条例》，情况逐步发生变化。具体实施方法包括调整土地使用结构，改革产权和促进生态环境恢复，目的是改善中国发展最快地区之一杭州的乡村环境。因此，新型乡村开始反映出市民们希望改善空气质量，提高水质环境的需求。慢节奏的生活方式对市民而言，越来越有吸引力，有助于他们远离城市的紧张工作，激发他们对传统生活体验的兴趣。
In 2007, through the National Code of Urban Planning, things began to change when the government started working towards establishing a more harmonious urban-rural relationship. This was done by restructuring land use, reforming property rights and promoting ecological restoration of the environment aimed to improve the rural environment in the Hangzhou area, one of the fastest growing regions in China. As a result, a newly designed countryside has started to reflect the demands and tastes of citizens who want improvement in air and water quality. A slow lifestyle has become more attractive to urban citizens who are increasingly interested in traditional life experiences away from their intense work in the cities.
裸心集团，希望在莫干山上下庄村附近连绵起伏的丘陵，茶园和竹林中，营造小规模精品度假酒店，满足人们日益增长的想要远离上海的需求。在当地政府逐渐将社会价值和经济价值区对待的同时，裸心集团与政府合作，在60英亩的美丽山谷中兴建“裸心谷”。
Naked Group, a small boutique retreat was looking to satiate the growing demand for a city getaway from Shanghai within the rolling hills, tea plantations and bamboo forests near Shangxiazhuang Village, in Moganshan. With cooperation from the local government who are increasingly distinguishing between social versus economic value, sixty acres of a beautiful valley was located to establish ‘Naked Stables.’

施工现状
Construction; Existing Site Conditions
裸心谷内的建筑，包括树顶别墅和山顶夯土小屋，从构思到建造，整个设计过程都旨在尽量减少对环境的影响，并与自然环境融为一体。为了最大程度地减少施工期间对当地自然环境的影响，别墅的建造采用了创新的施工技术，例如使用预制的结构隔热板，节省了大量的时间和资源。墙壁，地板和天花板都在场外制作，贴上清晰的标签并在现场组装，从而消除了对大型破坏性起重机和机械的需求。
The resort component comprises Treetop Villas and Hill Top Earth Huts all designed to minimize the environmental impact and blend with the natural surroundings. To help minimize impact on the local natural environment during construction, innovative construction technologies such as prefabricated SIP (structural insulated panels) were used in the construction of the villas which also saved time and resources. Walls, floors and ceilings were all made off-site, clearly labeled and assembled on-site, thus eradicating the need for large damaging cranes and machinery.

Project Challenge
我们团队面临的挑战首先是在施工期间最大程度地减少对该区域的影响。我们通过亲历现场设计来实现这一目的：因地制宜，趋利避害，通过实地踏勘标注别墅，道路，小径，大型露天剧场（嵌入山体）和主体无边泳池（沿着同一山体设计而成）的位置。应用当地传统施工技术，例如砌石筑墙，延续前人工艺造诣。此外，地热钻孔技术被应用于自然调节房间温度和自动控制水循环系统，用于灌溉以及洁厕。硬质铺装以及屋顶排水被引入山谷低洼处的净水生物群落中，流经多层台地，自然地缓慢流淌，最后储存在现有的现有的场地中以备再利用。
The challenge for our team was to first minimize the impact on the area during construction. This was done with a very hands on approach by physically walking the site to mark locations of villas, roads, trails, a large outdoor amphitheater (carved into a hill) and the main swimming pool (also terraced from the same hill) according to topographical opportunities or restrictions. Local traditional construction techniques such as stonemasonry retaining walls were built by locals who lived on the land and understood their craft from past generations. Geothermal boreholes are used to naturally regulate room temperate and water recycling for irrigation and toilets. Drainage from hard surfaces and rooftops were channeled into cleansing biotopes carved into the valley’s lower ravine, and terraced to naturally slow the flow and finally stored in an existing quarry for reuse.

Grounded in craft, texture and painstaking detail by using local materials and following local traditions, Naked Stables was awarded the coveted LEED Platinum status for sustainability. The resort has become a mental refuge for citizens from bustling cities who escape to relax, see an outdoor concert, ride horses, explore bamboo forests, pick and drink tea with the locals or cook off the grill from villas with incredible panoramic views of rolling tea plantations and bamboo forests.

Sustainable Design, Construction and Operation Philosophy
African and Asian elements were fused to bring the magic of African hospitality and intimacy with nature to an Asian setting. All buildings and landscape were designed and constructed to minimize environmental impact and blend in with their natural surroundings. This was not only realized with regards to materials used, but also in the careful orientation of each building and the application of the landscape elements. The result is an unique eco-resort with mix of charm in harmony with the natural environment.
因地制宜
不难发现，裸心谷整体的设计布局都是顺应原有的自然景观。进入裸心谷，放眼望去，绿色的草地映入眼帘，马儿徜徉其间，时而放牧时而休憩；再往山上走，树顶别墅在树枝间巧妙融合；露天剧场顺应原有梯级地形形成观众席；无边泳池也与大自然融为一体。设计从各个方面都考虑周全，以确保对现有环境产生最小的干扰。
Lay of the Land
It’s no surprise that the layout of naked Stables stems organically from the existing landscape. You’ll enter the retreat on the valley floor, a welcome complete with green fields and grazing horses; further up the hill the Tree Top Villas nestle amongst the branches; the amphitheatre sits comfortably in the slope; even the Infinity Pool blends in. In every aspect, thoughtful design ensures as little disturbance as possible to the existing environment.

除了先进的技术得以使用以外，传统的建造工法以及材料，如石墙结合竹子以及再生木材的结构得以运用。夯土屋及大堂墙体是用本地生产的泥胚筑成，不但环保，而且还形成浑然天成的彩色条纹及设计效果。
Local Heritage
In addition to cutting-edge technology, traditional construction techniques and materials such as stonemasonry, bamboo and recycled timber framed structures were used. The Earth Huts and Main Lobby were built with modern rammed earth walls using compressed earth from the local area, resulting in an environmentally friendly structure and striking coloured striations and design.高效环保的技术

Efficient and Environmentally Friendly Approach
Innovative construction technologies such as prefabricated SIP (structural insulated panels) were used in the construction of naked Stables’ Tree Top Villas. This time-saving, resource-saving and environment-preserving method meant that all main components – like walls, floors and ceilings – were made off-site, clearly labelled and then assembled on-site, eradicating the need for large cranes and heavy machinery and ensuring minimal forest disturbance.

裸心谷设计、建造和运营自己的度假村。无论是从构思，执行再到运营，始终坚持遵循严格的可持续发展原则，关注度假村的维护对环境长期的影响。因此，本项目在设计品质、建筑质量、节能和环保等方面都达到最高标准。
裸心谷先进的环境保护设计措施包括：
供暖和制冷系统：地热钻孔，自然调节室温，有效节约空调的用电量。
超级电容器：使用可重复使用技术，消除电池浪费，度假村内的高尔夫球车采用超级电容器，绿色无污染，可使用年限更长。
有效利用水资源：可循环利用的环保污水处理系统，能有效利用水资源灌溉或洁厕。
GEMS：智能系统，能掌握客户的用水和用电信息，并鼓励环保行为。
太阳能电池板：利用太阳能，裸心谷太阳能电池板每年都有助于减少数百吨二氧化碳的排放。
Green Initiatives
At naked Retreats, we design, build and operate our own retreats. From conception to execution to operation, we follow the same rigorous principles for sustainability and pay attention to the long-term environmental effects of maintaining the retreat. The result is that our properties meet the highest standards in design excellence, building quality, energy conservation and environmental friendliness.Advanced environmental design measures at naked Retreats include:Heating and cooling: geothermal boreholes to naturally regulate room temperature which can effectively save the power consumption of air conditioning.Ultra-capacitor batteries: eliminating battery waste using reusable technology；The golf cart in the resort adopts super capacitor, which is green and pollution-free, and can be used for a longer time.Effective use of water resources: Recycling environmental protection sewage treatment system can effectively use water for irrigation or toilet.GEMS: a smart system that monitors guests water and electricity usage and encourages ecofriendly behavior.Solar Panels: harnessing energy from the sun, solar panels across the retreats help reduce hundreds of tons of CO2 every year.
