哈罗国际学校是英国有着400多年历史的贵族名校，落户于海口江东区，是海南自由贸易港建立后的首个国际教育项目。
As the first educational project with international background after Hainan established its free-trade destination status, Harrow International School brings more than 400 years of elite school traditions to Jiangdong District of Haikou.
空间结构分析Spatial Structure analysis
项目地理位置优越，地块占地约96,673平方米，分设哈罗国际学校及礼德学校，提供从幼儿园至高中12年级的国际双语教育。
Project has 96,673 square meters in total area, with Harrow International School and Harrow Innovation Leadership Academy providing 12 years of International bilingual education from kindergarten to senior high school.

设计理念
“未来理想的自然教育，应该是外向的、互动的，
土地是礁石，自然是最好的老师，
艺术和科学都将成为学习的工具。”
“In the future, an ideal natural education should be an out-going and interactive experience.
With the earth as the foundation, nature can become the best teachers;
art and science are tools of learning. ”
景观与建筑设计秉持“空间即教育”的理念，融入了海南南洋特色的“骑楼空间”串联校园，模糊传统室内教育形式。
Both landscape and architecture design of the campus agree on the principle of “education in spatial design”.
通过开展生动有趣的户外教育，让学生在校的时间和空间共同构成一个回归自然、感受自然的有机体，打造一处理想的自然教育空间。
More outdoor education opportunity is a new possibility thanks to a system of arcade architectural structure. School campus becomes a living organic interface for students to return and embrace nature and natural educations.

主入口Main Entrance
考虑到项目的展示属性与空间趣味性，校园主入口提取英国哈罗公学建筑外墙红砖为基调，传递出浓郁的学院风格，景观与建筑完全融合，呼应城市界面。
Considering display functionality and spatial dynamic, main entrance of the school campus set its tone based on brick red emphasizing a strong academic style. Landscape design unifies with architecture façade creating a wholesome urban interface.
围合庭院Enclosed Courtyard
步入校园，融入海口当地建筑特色的半开放式教学建筑，模拟骑楼空间，巧妙地围合成内部庭院，为学生提供大量开放的活动休闲空间。
Architecture design borrows arcade structure common in Haikou to create a semi-open building spatial structure and an enclosed courtyard to provide more open activity and leisure spaces for students.
围合庭院作为教学室内与室外的缓冲空间，设置休闲坐凳和林荫广场，把孩子带回自然，感受自然，提升学生间的互动，也提升了学生与校园、自然的互动，建立人与自然的亲密关系。
As a buffer between classroom and outdoor spaces, leisure sitting and green shade plaza are set up to bring children back to nature. Such design encourages students to interact with natural elements on campus and establish a closer relationship to nature.
阶梯式学习露台Cascading LearningTerraces
围绕教室设置了大量开放绿色空间，形成明确的室内外划分，营造出充满活力的校园氛围，孩子们身临其中，就能找到适合自己与自然交流的最佳方式。
Large green spaces are set around academic buildings to clarify boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces. Blooming vegetation also help children to find their own ideal experiences with nature.
阶梯式露台将绿色植被与木质台阶相结合，质朴的颜色让校园质感不失统一又富有节奏，延伸收缩的样式塑造出攀登书山的仪式感，阶梯与艺术盒子、大树，将时间与景观融合在一起，形成独特的情感记忆点。
Green terraces combined with wooden stair steps create an uplifting natural rhythm. Stair case, artistic boxes and arbor trees create a memorable landscape node together.
多功能运动空间
Main EntranceMulti-functional Sports Space
为了确保总体景观规划满足学校需求的同时，与哈罗国际学校主张的自然教育特色融合，设立多功能的运动场地，丰富空间层次，让活动空间最大化，并鼓励孩子们去探索环境，培养他们的各种户外能力，助力他们的健康成长。
Design team set up a multi-functional sports area to both meet basic landscape functional demands and incorporate a long-held value of Harrow School: “Education in Nature”.
在丰富的地形空间下，我们借鉴英国哈罗公学的校园景观特色，将户外自然与传统校园相结合，形成了一处极具创意与生命力的绿荫校园空间，激发学生对自然的发现与探索，满足成长的天性。
On a site with rich elevation differences, we introduce outdoor natural elements into a traditional campus according to the landscape characteristics of Harrow School Campus to encourage discovery and exploration of nature from students for better growth.
