三月二十八日，Gensler在位于博华广场的新办公室举办了盛大的开幕酒会，来自各个领域的Gensler的合作伙伴们拨冗出席，分享了他们与Gensler之间的故事，并对Gensler中国未来的发展寄予了美好的祝福。开幕酒会在Gensler的联席首席执行官Diane Hoskins和Andy Cohen 的致辞中拉开了序幕。Diane与Andy 回顾了Gensler上海办公室过去十五年来的发展，对长期以来支持Gensler的业主及合作伙伴们表达由衷的感谢。Andy提到中国正面临大规模城市化的巨大机遇，Gensler将通过设计的力量，为中国未来城市的发展献计献策。酒会由Gensler大中华区联席执行总裁李晓梅女士和Peter Weingarten先生主持，我们也有幸请到了美国汉斯集团资深执行总裁Jim Morrison 先生、上海美商会主席Ker Gibbs先生、美国土地协会中国区主席暨瑞安房地产设计规划总监Albert Chan先生、绿色建筑协会北亚区董事总经理杜日生先生、北京建筑设计研究院徐全胜院长、上海中心大厦建设发展有限公司总经理顾建平先生发表精彩致辞。由于行程冲突不能出席的政府部门、业主和合作伙伴们也纷纷发来贺词和花篮，恭贺Gensler的乔迁之喜。

On March 28, Gensler hosted its inaugural reception party for its new office at One Museum Place. In attendance were Gensler’s clients and partners from varied industries. Guests shared unique histories of collaboration with Gensler, while delivering their best wishes for Gensler’s future growth in China. Gensler’s Co-CEOs, Diane Hoskins and Andy Cohen, traveled from the US to present a joint keynote highlighting the Shanghai office’s growth over the last fifteen years in tandem with the growth and support of our client relationships in the greater Asia region. Of particular note, Andy Cohen spoke of the inspired landscape and diverse opportunities China is encountering through her urbanization and growth, and Gensler’s unique role to shape the future of cities in China through the power of design. The reception was hosted by the Co-Regional Managing Principals for Greater China - Xiaomei Lee and Peter Weingarten. Other distinguished guests that delivered speeches include: Jim Morrison - Senior Managing Director at Hines, Ker Gibbs – President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, Albert Chan – Chair of ULI China Mainland and Director of Development, Planning & Design at Shui On Land, Andy To – Managing Director of GBCI North China, Xu Quansheng – President of the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd, Gu Jianping – General Manager of Shanghai Tower Construction and Development Co., Ltd. Guests from government, clients and partners who were unable to attend due to the schedule conflict also sent congratulations and flower baskets to congratulate Gensler on its move.
