 Marketing Communications Specialist 

 (Based in Shanghai) 

Essential Job Functions

> Responsible for developing and driving marketing communications strategies to maintain existing media resource, and to further develop new media channels, including paper media and social media of related industries;

> Helping to liaise with members of the news media, including responding promptly to requests from journalists, following up with journalists on key pitches, and coordinating and facilitating media interviews for design leaders.

> Responsible for managing and maintaining communication channels, compelling content for official website, WeChat, internal newsletter, external newsletter, and email marketing materials;

> Identifying, tracking, and monitoring significant speaking engagement opportunities and awards;

> Initiate and suggest marketing communication topics on both media exposure and marketing events;

> Implementing a system for tracking, organizing, and archiving media coverage.

> Developing and maintaining a system by which to identify and track major project milestones, and identifying PR opportunities for each.

> Copyediting or copywriting all types of marketing communications materials, as needed, including staff bios, project descriptions, internal communications, client email, awards submissions, media pitches, etc.

> Coordinate with firm wide marketing team as needed.

To join us, you should have:

A professional degree in journalism, linguistics, communications digital marketing or relevant field;

> Professional working experience of 5 years or above, preferably indesign/creative professional services environment;

> Experience on developing and managing social media is a plus;

> Familiar with related industry media;

> Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills;

> Ability to self-start and self-motivated;

> Proficiency in MS Office software;

> Proficiency in Chinese and English






















 Senior Urban Designer 

 (based in Shanghai) 

Essential Job Functions

> Work with the Urban Design Director and be able to independently detail and refine design;

> Lead the whole project process, and coordinate/collaborate with all the disciplines and teams involved;

> Capable of leading development projects in a wide range from master planning to site design; coordinate and make work assignments in the project process; guide and mentor junior and intermediate designers in the design team;

> Handle all kinds of complicated issues that are associated with project planning and design;

> Direct and oversee the entire design process and results on critical projects, and review all the technical documents;

> Evaluate conformance of design documents and results to client expectations and targets;

> Manage relationships with clients with some presentation and communication skills verbally and in writing.

> Provide support in response to business and client engagement goals with market insights and coordination skills.

To join us, you should

> EDUCATION: A Bachelor's Degree in architecture and a Master's Degree in urban design. Professional Degree received from one of the eight best architectural schools in China or a renowned overseas university preferred.

> WORK TERM: 10+ years of experience with urban design projects with the ability to independently complete design tasks and familiarity with China domestic design and planning codes;

> PROJECT TYPOLOGY: Project experience in a wide range of typology from 100 SQ KM region conceptual planning, 1-10 SQ KM area urban design to 50ha site design with the ability to independently complete urban design development and control the whole project process with acute sense to 3D modeling and building massing in urban design;

> TEAM COORDINATION: Be able to coordinate and manage job duties of different consultants, including rendering, multimedia, physical model making and etc.;

> CLIENT COMMUNICATION: Be able to communicate with clients effectively, keep direct contact with clients with certain ability to present design, participate early business negotiations and prepare service proposals;

> TEAM ORGANIZATION: Be able to organize project team and have effective coordination and communications with internal/external teams/divisions (such as local design institute and overseas design offices);

> WORK APPROACH: Adopt open design and teaming approaches and regularly organize project checkups and team discussions;

> WORK ATTITUDE: Actively organize teamwork by setting an inspiring example for others with a sense of responsibility and helping create a specific team culture and a collaborative working environment;

> KNOWLEDGE &EXPERIENCE: Some knowledge and experience of project programming, master planning, site, landscape, traffic organization, infrastructure planning in the implementation of urban design and planning;

> COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS Suite, Rhino, GIS and PowerPoint;

> LICENSURE & LANGUAGE: Licensed architect or planner preferred, be able to communicate in both English and Chinese.

 Inspiring Internship 

(based in Shanghai)

As an architectural design intern you will be an active member of our team, you will participant in the architectural design process and contribute to the development of solutions, prepare presentation drawings and making physical models for concept discussion and communication internally and externally. 

The internship is a full-time paid position last from January/February 2020 to July 2020. Maybe even longer if there is a good match between you and the studio. 

To join us, you should

> Pursuing a master’s degree of architecture or equivalent (minimum 3 years of education completed)

> Strong architectural design and graphic skills

> Ability to work collaboratively within the team as well as independently

> Proficiency in Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite

> Experience with physical model making is beneficial

> Knowledge of Revit, Grasshopper, or AutoCAD is a plus
