新加坡——世界领先的酒店设计公司赫希贝德纳联合公司（HBA）在釜山海云台完成了乐天酒店及度假村的首个超豪华海滩度假村“喜格尼尔”酒店项目。釜山是韩国第二大城市，也是韩国最受欢迎的旅游胜地之一，这使得釜山喜格尼尔成为一处理想的休闲度假场所。这座6星级地标性建筑位于釜山最高建筑LCT大厦的第三层到第十九层，共有260间客房。在轻松低调的奢华氛围中，客人可以一览无余地欣赏著名海滨的独特海景。深受周围自然奇观和海云台命名者的启发，HBA在设计中充分体现了有关生命四大基本元素：水、太阳、地球和空气之间达到平衡的玄学哲理，从而向韩国著名儒士和诗人“云僧”崔致远致敬。釜山喜格尼尔采用现代设计手法来表现精选酒店元素之间巧妙的平衡，令人联想到精致的现代欧洲地中海酒店，同时又具有浓郁的亚洲特色。

Singapore-Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), the world’s leading hospitality design firm, has completed the first super-luxury beach resort for Lotte Hotels & Resorts, under the premium label SIGNIEL in Haeundae, Busan. Located in the second largest city in Korea and one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations, Signiel Busan is the place to spend a relaxing vacation. The 6-star landmark houses 260 rooms from the third to the nineteenth floors of the 101-story LCT Tower, the tallest building in the city. During their stay in the ambiance of relaxed, understated luxury, guests can enjoy exceptional, unobstructed ocean views of the popular beachside. Inspired by the surrounding natural wonders and by the founder of the Haeundae namesake, HBA pays tribute to The Cloud Monk, Choi Chi Won, a celebrated Korean Confucian scholar and poet. The design reflects the poets’ metaphysical philosophy on the balance of the four fundamental elements of life: water, sun, earth and air. A curated balance of distilled resort elements expressed in a contemporary approach, SIGNIEL BUSAN recalls the sophisticated modernity of urban Mediterranean hotels in Europe, yet with an Asian sensitivity in design.

大堂酒廊 | Lobby Lounge

甫临釜山喜格尼尔，时尚休闲的现代室内装潢即如画卷般展示在客人眼前，而画卷之中描绘的就是海云台海滩的壮丽景致。在大堂接待处，从高空飞流直下的水晶瀑布占据了整个多层中庭空间，格外吸引眼球。背景是一幅巨型木制屏风，将侧面的视觉焦点逐步引向副楼电梯，同时给广阔的空间增添一丝暖意。大堂前台的设计灵感来自附近著名的金泉（Geumsaem），采用石头和树脂制作的极简主义雕塑，表现了岩石与水的神秘力量和自然之美。前台的后方悬挂着一幅纪念海云台海滩创建人崔志云的艺术铭文作品，对前来休闲度假的客人深表欢迎。大堂的装饰在取材上采用一种现代而又随意的海滩风格，例如吧台椅、漂白的木材和亚麻织物等。大堂地毯图案的设计则受到这位学者细腻笔法的启发，圆润的笔触与关键概念词“永恒”直接呼应。远处，一座让人联想到姜山（Jang Mountain）的悬浮水晶艺术装置，将大堂与面点沙龙和大堂休息厅巧妙隔离开来。

Upon arriving at Signiel Busan, guests behold the marvellous vista of Haeundae beach framed by a stylish, casually modern interior. In the main reception, dramatic plunge of crystals recalling a waterfall anchor a multi-storied atrium space. As sweeping backdrop stands a large wood screen that buffers the side view into the podium escalators, while bringing some warmth into the vast space. Inspired by the famous, nearby Golden Fountain of Geumsaem, the main reception desk is a minimalist sculptural study in stone and resin, evoking the enigmatic power and natural beauty of rock and water. Behind hangs an artwork inscription honouring the writings of Haeundae Beach founding father, Choi Chi Wan, welcoming guests on their journey to relaxation and recreation. The decorative styling is modern but with casual, beachy nuances in materiality, such as the semi-open grain, bleached wood and linen textured fabrics. The lobby carpet pattern is inspired by the scholar’s careful, calligraphic brush stroke, with its’ round shape tying directly to the key concept word, “Eternity.” In the distance, a suspended crystals art installation, reminiscent of Jang Mountain, brings a subtle separation between the lobby and the Pastry Salon and lobby lounge.

Another resort highlight are the grand and junior ballrooms, located on the fourth floor and with 7.7 floor to floor height. These, offer pleasing ocean views and accommodate 600 people for leisure or business events.

The fifth floor is home for the F&B outlets known as The View all-day-dining, Chaoran Chinese restaurant and Chaoran modern Chinese tapas & bar. Chaoran celebrates the vintage Hong Kong and its rich dim sum heritage. Touch of rustic nostalgia with the convivial energy and spirit define the overall fine dining ambiance in which an exclusive dim sum and cocktail menu by Michelin 3-star chef Bruno Menard is served. The scale of each space is intimate, but uniquely ornamented, with quaint vistas through screened openings with subtle industrial nuances, recalling the collision of spaces and sensory indulgence often associated with the Hong Kong.

The resort features a large, upscale fitness center and Korean style spa, including an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, an outdoor infinity pool and the eco-friendly Chantecaille spa. Located on the sixth floor, this oasis offers exceptional relaxation and rejuvenation to busy guests. A place to unwind and restore, the clean architectural lines and finishes of the pool and sauna evoke the warmth and shifting geometry of sand dunes. They surround the healing waters of the spa and sauna, inspired by Haeundae Beach’s natural thermal spring. A soothing fresh palette of heather whites, cream marble and blond wood, accent with sea foam tones complements the central “dew drop” lighting feature within the spa reception.

Following the design concept of “Sleek Haven,” the guestrooms are designed with a contemporary and sophisticated style, blended with subtle traditional Korean elements. The inspirations from the serene ocean’s horizon are present in numerous decorative elements such as the ombre drapery and carpet. Nuances of traditional Korean  Jogakbo cloth are alluded on the glass screens. In addition, the guestrooms are fitted with light, bleached wood and neutral with clean, minimal detailing to frame grand vistas of the ocean beyond. The overall ambiance of this stylish room, appointed in soft, pleasing colour tones, brings a calming and comfortable sense of place. Clean, minimal detailing in warm, grey marble observes the calm and introspective philosophy of Choi Chi Won.
