Project BIM Manager, Architecture

About the role

We're looking for a Project BIM Manager to join us in Shanghai to act as the intermediary, between coordinating designers, clients, architects and engineers to oversee the production of detailed, technical, architectural plans, components and materials for construction projects.

As a Project BIM manager you will work on project(s) and work closely with Hassell global Design Technology community helping implement and drive Design Technology to enhance design and delivery through BIM.

As part of this role, you'll be expected to manage the Model element author's daily and weekly tasks, assessing whether they've completed tasks to the desired LoDs, auditing and managing Worksets and Review warnings, while assisting users in understanding mistakes and how to rectify them.  You'll set up project BIMs including; project structure, definition of BIM deliverables, data exchange formats and effective workflows.

About you

Candidates for the position of Project BIM Manager should have the following skills & experience:

_Proven Revit experience on large and small projects, driving BIM deliverables for the project team and client

_Proven experience in implementation of BIM standards and workflows inline with company and client BIM standards and BIM objectives

_Good interpersonal skills and the able to work independently and as part of an effective team

_Ability to set up Project BIM requirements including; project structure, definition of BIM deliverables, data exchange formats and effective workflows within a team

_Experience in delivering Revit training and relative Best Practice and standards and identify  skill gaps, with a goal of continuous improvement for all project staff

_Relevant degree qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Architectural Technology or related discipline

We're looking for an experienced Architect or Senior Architect to join our Shanghai studio. In this role, you’ll leverage your prior experience and passion for design to work across sectors, actively contributing to delivering complex projects through to successful completion.

You’ll be responsible for supporting the team and design process from the generation of spatial and material concepts to design development, documentation, and delivery.

About you

As a talented, focused, and driven designer, you should have the following key skills, knowledge and experience:

_Relevant tertiary qualifications and familiarity with relevant building codes

_A minimum of 5 years relevant experience working on complex projects in China

_Well-rounded design and documentation skills

_Proficiency in Revit, MS Office, and Adobe Suite

3D Artist

About the role

You’ll be working as part of a team of dedicated 3D visualisation artists in our Shanghai studio who collaborate on projects across all of our sectors: landscape design, urban design, architecture & interiors.

The role is to support our teams in production of visualisation production with a variety of different project typologies.  A high level of communication skills is important, as well as a solid understanding of architecture, interior design and landscape projects working with a variety of different programs. 

About you

We are looking for a design focused 3D Artist that has 3-5 years of experience in the architecture/design industry and has a great design eye for exceptional 3D visualisation.  You should be capable of curve modelling, basic rendering and application of materials and light, effectively expressing light and shadow of buildings.

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

_Production experience using 3D Studio Max 2015-2019, VRay 3.6 and Photoshop and have a hunger for digital innovation and future thinking when it comes to 3D visutalisaitons

_Proficiency in Sketch Up, AutoCAD and REVIT

_You will need to be fluent in both English & Mandarin

_Knowledge of aminations is advantageous

About the role

As a Business Support Coordinator in our Shanghai studio, you’ll provide a high level of support and assistance across all facets of the business - to the studio, reception, staff, leaders, projects, business development, events, day-to-day operations and any ad-hoc items as they arise. 

You’ll be responsible for provision of reception and administrative support across the studio, which may include greeting clients and other guests, meetings and travel coordination, document production and calendar management. As part of the role, you may be required to assist in preparation of marketing and business development material, assist with event coordination, including general studio duties to support the business. 

The Business Coordinator is a diverse role, and as such offers the opportunity for you to play to your strengths. You’ll have the ability and support to focus your efforts where you can have the greatest impact, while still providing general support across the business.
