The Beiersdorf Group, the parent company of renowned German skincare brand Nivea, recently relocated to its new office in Hamburg, Germany. IFG has been involved in the development of the new Beiersdorf Campus for the past five years. Our primary responsibility included the interior design of the workspaces, canteen, and all public areas.
A choreographed canon of spatial modules forms an agile landscape that fosters concentrated work as much as communication and collaboration. Anchored in a set of global design guidelines, the concept can be rolled out to all international locations. We also developed a wayfinding system for the building.
And we contributed an important tool to the comprehensive change process at Beiersdorf: A 360° virtual environment that allowed people to explore selected rooms virtually in the run-up to the big move.

To mark this special occasion, Beiersdorf extended an invitation to all those who played a role in the project, inviting them to Hamburg to tour the completed Beiersdorf Campus. Among the attendees were our project manager, Kerstin El-Khawad, and Axel Knapp, who, along with his team, developed the signage system.
Many thanks to Marie Boden for the invitation and the tour. We were also very pleased to hear Nicola Lafrentz speak. The feedback from the staff was overwhelmingly positive. For us, this is the greatest compliment.
