gmp·冯·格康，玛格及合伙人建筑师事务所的UMBAU改造更新项目再次获奖：汉堡阿尔斯特游泳馆荣获《Architect's Newspaper 建筑师报》“商业建筑改造”类别“最佳设计”奖。“我喜爱这个项目中的光照质感。它是一个如此优雅的空间，不会削弱原有建筑的特色”，评审团成员奥马尔·甘地在赞扬gmp的设计时说道。在此我们感谢《Architect's Newspaper 建筑师报》，并向所有获奖团队和项目表示祝贺。

Yet another award for the UMBAU practice of our offices: The Alsterschwimmhalle in Hamburg has won the Architect’s Newspaper’s “Best of Design”-Award in the “Building Renovation-Commercial” category. “I love the quality of light in this project. It’s such an elegant space that doesn’t subtract from what was existing”, said jury member Omar Gandhi in praise of gmp’s work.  We would like to thank the Architect's Newspaper and extend our congratulations to all the winning teams and projects.

从2020年到2023年，阿尔斯特游泳馆进行了大规模的翻新、改造和扩建。壮观的壳体屋顶、拥有50米泳池的巨大内部空间以及立面结构都得以保留。同时，体育设施首次进行了全面重新设计，并增添了现代元素。几乎屋顶下的所有部分都进行了修改，以使它那源自1970年代的独特姿态得以保持不变。

From 2020 to 2023, the Alsterschwimmhalle was extensively renovated, converted and extended. The spectacular shell roof, the enormous interior with the 50-meter pool, and the facade construction were retained. At the same time, the sports facilities were comprehensively redesigned for the first time and supplemented with contemporary additions. Almost everything under the roof had to be modified in order to allow its visionary gesture from the 1970s to remain unchanged.
