浙大衢州“两院”(浙江大学衢州研究院与工程师学院衢州分院)项目位于浙江省衢州市柯城区高铁新城教育小镇内。项目由浙江大学与衢州市共同打造,对接当地产业,聚焦材料、生物医药、资源环境、分子制造工程等领域,同时采取多元校地合作的新模式,集科学研究、成果转化和人才培养功能于一体。法国AS建筑工作室(联合中国建筑上海设计研究院)于2019年在国际竞赛中获胜,负责项目的全专业设计工作和总体把控,这座国际一流的化工材料研究中心已于2022年6月18日正式启用。

Zhejiang University “Two Institutes" in Quzhou (Zhejiang University Quzhou Research Institute and the Quzhou Branch of the College of Engineering) are in the education town of Quzhou, Zhejiang Province. The project was organized by Zhejiang University and the city of Quzhou which create a new model of diversified School-Local Cooperation. integrating scientific research, industrialization, and talent cultivation in one platform. At the same time, the university collaborates with local industries, such as materials, bio-pharmaceutical, resource environment, and molecular manufacturing engineering. Architecturestudio (in association with China Shanghai Architectural Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd) won the international competition in 2019 and is responsible for the whole design work and overall control of the project. This international-level chemical materials research center was officially opened on 18 June 2022.

无界与生长

Boundless & Growing


工作室在自然水岸景观与城市教育建筑群之间寻找适合基地的设计思路, 创造更加绿色的校园聚落形态。建筑群落的无界布局,则是希望校园与周边产生更丰富的碰撞,打造适合工作、交流和生活的良好生态场所,提供更多交流思想、表达情感与启发创新的空间。项目犹如种下一棵树,予以适合的温度、水分、空气,得到足够的能量和空间之后,向下扎根向上生长。
The studio has explored the proper planning between the waterfront landscape and the urban education complex, creating an ecological campus. The borderless layout aims to create a more vivid interaction between the campus and its surroundings. Eventually, the campus will be the place to work, communicate and live, providing more space to exchange ideas, express emotions and inspire innovation. The process is like planting a tree, giving the temperature, moisture, and fresh air; providing enough energy and space to take root and grow upwards.

项目由中心共享广场划分为南区和北区:规划占地面积163亩,总建筑面积15.9万平方米。中心广场的设计将校园与常山港河滨景观带无缝衔接,创造出鼓励步行的开放社区花园;南区主要设置实验楼和创业孵化楼,形态上与蔓延的河岸景观交融,形成丰富的校园场景;北区的综合主楼是整个教育小镇东侧的门户形象,与会议中心、国际交流中心、宿舍群及体育馆围绕中央草坪布局。

The project is divided into the south and north zone by the central plaza that seamlessly connects the Changshan Harbor riverfront landscape, and creates an open community garden; The project covers an area of 163 acres, and the total construction area is 159,000 square meters. The south zone set up the scientific research laboratories and business incubation buildings, which morphologically intermingle with the riverfront landscape with various campus scenarios; the administration building in the north zone entrance is the gateway image of the whole education town, enclosed out the central lawn with the conference center, international exchange center, dormitories, and gymnasium.

多元与共享 

Diversity & Sharing


南区作为研发孵化建筑群,包含各类科研、实验、办公的空间。实验楼为了保证安全需实行封闭式管理,空间布局采用树状平面结构,各自独立的单体建筑由一个连贯开放的连廊串联成整体,楼栋间隔分布在连廊东西两侧。在保证舒适的楼间距的同时,实现良好的可达性。基于各类实验室不同的日照温度标准和空间要求,平面布局采用模块化设计,可以灵活分割组合,动态适应不同需求,增加跨学科合作的便利性。楼层采用7.2米X9.6米的柱网,通过模数化的设计满足三种标准实验室尺寸;层高为5.2米,充分考虑了实验室大空间的舒适性和必须的设备吊顶高度。工作室希望这种对空间的探索可以使建筑的生命周期更长。
The south zone is a scientific research laboratories and industrial incubation complex, containing various research laboratories and office spaces. The buildings used enclosed security management for the sake of safety. The spatial layout adopts a tree-shaped structure. The individual buildings are connected into a whole by a continuous open corridor, and the building is distributed on the east and west sides of the corridor. While ensuring comfortable floor spacing, good accessibility can be achieved. Based on different sunshine, temperature standards, and space requirements of laboratories, there is a modular design, that can be flexibly divided and combined, dynamically meet different needs, and increase the convenience of interdisciplinary cooperation. The laboratory design used a 7.2 m X9.6 m column net, which is convenient for the modular division of three sizes. And the height is 5.2 m, architecturestudio fully considered the comfort of laboratories and the necessary ceiling height for equipment, prospecting that this space exploration could lead to a longer life cycle for the building.

北区的重心在教学、行政和生活,行政楼的下方衔接裙房,延伸联结会议中心、体育馆、国际交流中心、宿舍楼。各个建筑守边而立,形成的庭院式布局围合出中央草坪,最大化师生课余的活动空间。体育馆的东西侧,以连贯折叠门分隔室内外空间,可根据使用场景灵活转换。国际交流中心采用退台式布局,最大化景观效应。宿舍楼更多地与公共空间互相串联,增加生活区的便利性。

The north zone focuses on teaching, administration, and living, with a podium beneath the administration building and an extension linking the conference center, gymnasium, international exchange center, and dormitory building. They were arranged in a courtyard-style layout to form a central lawn, maximizing the space for people to enjoy campus life. The east and west facades of the gymnasium are separated by continuous folding doors, allowing for a flexible transition between indoor and outdoor spaces for different scenarios. The international exchange center uses retreat of the terrace to maximize the landscape effect. The dormitories are connected to more public spaces to increase the convenience of the living area.

从屋顶悬挂至南北立面的镂空白色陶板犹如一层幕布,将南区建筑群覆盖,在内侧深灰金属板的映衬下呈现视觉轻盈且清晰的形象。第五立面结合建筑造型充分满足了屋顶设备的设置和隐藏。北区建筑群立面以水平元素为主,并由连续的视觉通廊连接,具有点到点的引导性。位于场地中心的行政楼,南北立面采用乳白色铝板的垂直水平排列组合,与整体立面元素呼应;同时最大可开启窗扇的设置让建筑可利用自然采光和通风节能减排。其东西立面则采用双层幕墙体系,为室内创造更好的环境。

The white ceramic panels hanging from the roof to the north and south facades act as a curtain covering the southern buildings, presenting a visually light and clear image against the dark grey metal panels inside. The fifth facade, combined with the architectural form, fully satisfies the setting and hiding of equipment on the roof. The facade of the north complex is decorated by horizontal elements, and connected by continuous visual corridors, which provide a point-to-point orientation. The north and south facades of the administration building, which is in the center of the site, are decorated vertically and horizontally with milky white aluminum panels, echoing the elements of other buildings. At the same time, the maximum window opening allows natural lighting and ventilation to save energy and reduce emissions. The east and west facades install a double-layer curtain wall system for a better interior environment.

开放与交流

Openness & Interaction
通过对城市轴线、场地景观与沿河绿地的细致分析,工作室希望为场地创造一个以静为主、持续生长发展的校园环境,在这里建筑与自然可以相生相依。滨水绿化作为城市的端景,中轴广场将景观和城市界面衔接融合,滨水景观也成为校园标志的一部分。
After the analysis of the urban axis, site landscape, and riverfront greenbelt, the studio hopes to create a quiet, continuously growing campus, where architecture and nature can interdependently coexist. The waterfront greenery acts as an end view of the city, with the central plaza bridging and integrating the landscape and urban interface, and the waterfront landscape becoming part of the campus identity.

南区的庭院相对私密,强调由观赏性景观向私密性景观的过渡,使穿插在楼栋间的不同区域风格相近又各具识别性,同时作为校园社区的开放空间,提供阅读、交流的场所。北区的中心景观遵循大整体小不同的设计原则,设置了雕塑广场、生态草坪和公共交流空间。

The courtyard in the south zone is relatively private, emphasizing the transition from ornamental to private so that the different landscape areas interspersed between the buildings are similar in style but distinctive. The yards provide spaces for reading and communication as well. The central landscape of the north zone follows the design principle with sculptural plazas, ecological lawns, and public communication spaces.
