(Gold Medal Grandma‘s home -Xiamen The Mixc）

鏝刀石是厦门的特色材质，厦门老工匠才知道，已被冷落多年，只出现在一些建筑景观工程中会局部的点缀用，施工工艺多以水洗石做法为主。

（The Mandao stone is the special material of Xiamen. Only the old craftsmen know that it has been left out for many years. It only appears in some architectural landscape projects and will be partially embellished. The construction process is mainly based on washed stone.）

空间设计上抛弃了习惯性营造的自拍焦点模式，以功能为上，餐位优先的商业考虑。纵横分明的设计布局下，特色的鏝刀石墙面，另类个性的镜面吊顶，点缀式的吊灯布置都是新的设计手法。

(The space design abandoned the self-portrait focus mode with the considerations of function-first and place-first. Under the vertical and horizontal design layout, the unique Mandao stone wall , the mirror ceiling and the ornamental mode arrangement of ceiling lamps are all new design methods.)

启用鏝刀石这个材质和用折叠式镜面做吊顶反射店铺内用餐时的繁杂，主要是勾起了一段厦门的过往。

(The use of the material of the Mandao stone and the use of a folding mirror to reflect the complexity of the dining in the store is mainly a spur of the past of Xiamen.)

记得当年老大哥总是在他有棵巨大榕树的院子露台上泡岩茶给我和老叶俩喝，再用他的闽南腔像台湾人一样讲着他人生中的以往点点，他的院子是以前的老别墅，鼓浪屿常见那种，建筑非常有意思，院子围墙外面是繁杂的街景，人来人往，车水马龙。

(I remember that Big Brother always gave me and Lao Ye on the terrace of the courtyard where he had a huge banyan tree. He used his southern Fujianese to tell the past in his life like a Taiwanese. His yard is the old villas in the past, the common kind of Gulangyu, the building is very interesting, the street outside the courtyard is a complicated street scene, people always come and go)

我和老叶现在总是经常回忆起，特别记得院子围墙上鏝刀石材质做的水洗石墙面甚至当年我们在设计城际酒店顶楼行政酒廊时还特意请来当地的工匠做了这个材质。

（Lao Ye and I always remember it all the time，especially remember the washed stone wall made of Mandao stone on the wall of the yard. Even when we designed the Intercity Executive Lounge on the top floor of the Intercity Hotel, we specially invited local craftsmen to do this material.）

时隔7年，应外婆家餐饮集团邀请为其设计位于厦门万象城金牌外婆家项目，多年记忆中的点点，一涌而出，鏝刀石、水洗石墙面、繁杂街景。

( After a lapse of 7 years, Lou-design studio is invited to join this project of gold medal grandm’s home -Xiamen The Mixc）. The memories of many years have come out, the Mandao stone, the washed stone wall surface and the complicated street scene.

往忆，保留，表达，适合当下审美。

( Reminiscing, retaining, expressing, suitable for the present aesthetic）

如同外婆家创始人Uncle吴对童年味蕾的满满回忆，无论是食材、时间、烹饪方式，都追求记忆中老底子的味道。

（Like the grandmother's founder Uncle Wu's full memories of childhood taste buds, whether it is ingredients, time, cooking style, they are pursuing the taste of the old base in memory.）
